How can I have information about the university and federal tournaments ?

What is the Queens Rugby 7 Festival ?

 A lively week with three tournaments (school, university, federal), debates & conferences about women and sport, exhibitions, as well as workshops and animations!

When and where does it take place ?

The university tournament is on 18 and 19 June and the federal tournament is on 20 and 21 June.  Leon Bonvoisin stadium – Bois de Vincennes, PARIS

What are the conditions to participate to the tournament ? 

For the university tournament:  participants must have a valid licence from the federation of university sport of their country

For the federal tournament:  participants must have a valid licence from the rugby federation of their country

How many teams can participate and what is the level ?

For the university tournament: 16 French teams and 8 European teams 

For the federal tournament: 12 French teams and 12 European teams

This is a non-professional tournament. You will be welcome whatever your level is !

How many players can register per team ?

There cannot be more than 15 persons per team (players + staff members).

The European Union will only provide a reimbursement to cover accommodation and transportation costs for a maximum of 15 persons.

How can I register ?

There is a dedicated platform that allows you to register easily to the tournament. If you still feel a bit lost, watch this short tutorial video

What do the registration fees include ?

The registration fees include many things : access to the festival, participation to the tournament with official referees, access to a care area (physiotherapy, medical staff on site), team and individual welcome packages, meals provided on site, animations and workshops, access to the closing concert on June 21st…

Until when can I register to the tournament ?

Registrations will be open until the number of teams participating per tournament is reached.

A festival co-funded by the European Union ?

Thanks to the Erasmus+ Sport program, the event will gather players from all around Europe and give them an opportunity to meet and face each other. As part of this program, each participating team will get a partial reimbursement from the European Union to cover the transportation and accommodation costs.
